Sandy PlakidasDirector of Food and Beverage
Sandy is a native of Greece and has been in the food service industry for over 40 years. He was General Manager of Piccadilly Cafeterias prior to joining The Cook Hotel staff at the facility opening in 2001. Sandy served in Navy Special Forces prior to his college education at LSU. He thoroughly enjoys cooking and is responsible for the delicious full buffet breakfast prepared every morning at The Cook. Sandy has been married to his wife Shirley for 42 happy years. They have two sons, Tony and Kostas, and two beautiful grandchildren.
